RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT
We stock and sell all the equipment we recommend because it is
not typically available at mainstream retail stores. We provide
clients with customized "fittings" and use lessons so
we can assess your situation, identify the best equipment solution,
and teach you how to use it. You CAN train your dog in his everyday
buckle collar, but we find training often goes faster with the equipment

Martingale Collar
This collar offers better control than a regular buckle collar,
plus your dog can't back out of it so it keeps your dog safe! Our
martingale collars are custom made with the best features available.
Head Halter (Gentle Leader or Snoot Loop brand)
Head halters provide a gentle way to restrain and guide a high-strung
dog or super puller. They put "power steering" on your
dog, making pulling or lunging virtually impossible, thus preventing
your dog from practicing this unwanted behavior.
Sensation Harness
These harnesses are like no other. Developed using principles
of dressage (that's right, horse movement) they teach your dog to
move with you (instead of you moving with him) by gently guiding
his shoulders, back, and chest. Sensation Harnesses are brand new
to the market and truly are a sensation (they've been rated one
of the best products of the year in a number of reviews)! The Canine

Leather Leash (6' long, up to 5/8" wide)
Once you use a high-quality leather leash you will never go back
to nylon or anything else. It's soft in your hands, prevents leash
slip, and allows you to relax your grip.
Long Line (30')
This is essential for teaching your dog to come when called, and
keeping your dog safe while practicing long distance behaviors.
Buddy System Leash
This hands-free leash is terrific! It let's you more fully concentrate
on your training technique, and provides a wonderful way to run
and recreate with your dog.
